Total service of 17 years 315 days. Intended address of "Appleton", Park Road, Farnborough, Hants.
All Army service shown as Home except served in Bermuda from 30/11/1902 to 20/04/1904. Reference always show "Exemplary" conduct and record him as a "very superior carpenter".

Lived with son William H.G. and wife from their marriage in 1928, firstly at Star Lane, Ash, Surrey then at Wyke Avenue, Ash (mid-1930's) and then at 2 Petworth Villas, Guildford Road, Ash until about 1950.
Then went to live with daughter Vera and family (probably at Bailes Lane, Normandy, Guildford, Surrey) until his death.
